None of these are my maunga. I don't whakapapa to any of them. They're the ones I grew up travelling past — three I've always been in awe of.

For years I only ever saw Taranaki in cloud. Never saw the top. The longer life goes on the more I catch it — I was up Ruapehu the other day and could see it from there, clear as day.

These came after the Taonga set — taiaha, patu, pouwhenua — back when I was still working out what the iPad could do.
